Camp for a Cure
Our Story
Why we created Camp for a Cure
Alex and Erin have a shared passion for music, the great outdoors, and giving back to the community. When our Youtube channel started grow we saw it as an opportunity to combine everything we love and bring people together for a common cause - and so Camp for a Cure was born!
Unfortunately, we are no stranger to cancer and the damage it can cause. Erin lost her mum to breast cancer in 2020 after a 7 year battle. This spurred us on to take hold of the moment and live our life in the now, travelling around Australia in a caravan with our 2 kids, Bella and Toby. Our Youtube Channel ‘Now or Never’ was born. Alex then lost his dad to cancer in 2021, 2 months into our trip of a lifetime. On top of that, we also started watching friends our own age fighting the disease themselves and decided now was the time, we were going to do something to help change this!
Fast forward to 2024 and Camp for a Cure was born! In its first year Camp for a Cure hosted over 500 people and raised over $25,000, it over doubled in size in 2025 with over 1200 attendees, and we raised over $87,000, which was donated to the charity Love your Sister. We are bring it back for round 3 in 2026. Tickets are onsite now at www.campforacure.com.au. We'd love to see you there!
